What exactly is the problem?
Due to an inaccuracy during assembly, the main switch on some products may be misaligned, which can lead to an unintentional switch to search mode or even switch the device off completely if pressure is applied from the side. The defect represents a safety risk for users and is taken very seriously by Mammut.

How does the return process work?
Mammut offers a simple and uncomplicated returns procedure worldwide.

Follow these steps for the return shipment:
- Open the return form of Mammut.
- Enter your customer details.
- Select the item category Avalanche equipment.
- Enter all the details about your device.
- Enter the problem description „Barryvox Recall 2024“.
- Leave the Proof of problem field empty.
- Submit the form online.
Once your request has been processed, Mammut will provide you with a return label to print out. Pack your device carefully and send it in for inspection. The repair or rectification of the defect is free of charge for you.
How long does the inspection or replacement take?
Mammut states that it will inspect your device within seven working days of receipt and either send it back or replace it with a new one.
