Good grip even without clipless pedals: Size 43 EU

The sole of the ET700 is ideal for my purposes. Good grip on my old-school bear paws as well as on rock and wet ground when carrying.
I like the BOA lacing because it is easy to adjust even while riding. In addition, in the event of a defect, replacement cords and closure caps are available directly from BOAfit.
The shoe fits my narrow foot very well. Even slightly wider feet will find plenty of room in it, as the long lacing area allows for good adjustments.
The smooth surface of the upper material is practical. Moisture stays outside and the foot stays dry. In my experience, this only works well with mesh at the beginning.
Perhaps Shimano will manage to integrate a reflective strip on the outside of the heel area in the next edition. This will increase visibility.
After a few long tours with the ET700, I think the ET700 is highly recommended. Why only 4 and not 5 stars? Because Shimano is extremely wrong when it comes to shoe sizes.
