It is widely known that Tricams work really well, but 3 stars because the price-performance ratio, considering the "production effort", is simply a disgrace.
The Abalak (Kouba / Rock Empire) produced in the Czech Republic cost about 8€ each, the production costs are probably similar.
In my opinion, the price difference is simply not justified.
If you then consider that Dyneema-equipped Tricams age just by lying around and you simply have to throw them away after 7-10 years, it's a no-go for the price.
Buy the Evo with nylon slings! Aging is not an issue.
