I have already tested the 4th pair of VSR and now the first pair of Instinct S.
In comparison, the slippers are surprisingly a bit more comfortable. Sensitivity like the VSR, size is pretty much the same. I wear street shoe size -0.5, but in my opinion that is also the pain threshold for Scarpas (literally)
The slipper has a little more support compared to the VSR. It is a little stiffer at the very front than the VSR, which means the shoe holds well even on the smallest edges.
But it's also great on poorly greased surfaces, like the VSR.

The toehook patch on the Instinct S is the best ever. Every hook or bat hang holds perfectly.

This is the second time I've bought the Instinct S. They are the best slippers I know. When bouldering, I like to have shoes that I can put on and take off quickly.
The toebox is much more comfortable than the Instinct VSR.
They retain their shape very well and are also easy to resole.
The only thing I would like is a version with XS Edge for heavier climbers.
