At first I was impressed because it was very soft and flexible. The rope has now been used twice a week for 8 months, only in the hall. The sheath is very rough at one end of the rope and is slowly separating from the core ("U" test). Will probably have to be shortened after a year.
[EDIT: after 10 months both ends of the rope are very worn] A friend of mine had an Edelrid rope which after less than 6 months had abrasion on the sheath and had to be shortened!
My old Decathlon rope only looked like this after 2.5 years and it was also used on the rocks and often dragged over edges. If you look closely, the sheath fibers are woven much more finely than the Edelrid. My Beal rope is also coarsely woven and is a bit rough after about 50 days on the rocks but is still in tip-top condition compared to the Edelrid.
Both other ropes were/are more durable and cheaper.
