Run once with this, mixed wet terrain. I was a bit surprised how little emotions this shoe raised in me - It felt just good in every way.. Grip on steps seemed excellent on any outdoor surfaces. Outsole is not the softest of rubber, so the feel of grip is not among the most aggressive trail shoes I have tried, but under weight the outsole grip seems very trusty. Because of the harder side outsole material, I expect these not to be the grippiest non-studded shoes on ice. This is a gtx shoe, so it felt to be warm for the feet

It would be great if there were women's shoes in this size too. Many women have large feet these days. These are once again too wide for women's feet. Unfortunately, this usually leads to blisters.

Comfortable and well-made shoes for easier trails. Good rolling comfort. Good grip on dry surfaces, but the outsole occasionally reaches its limits on wet surfaces (-> 1 star deduction).
Like most Salomon trail shoes, the cut is a bit narrower.
Size as stated (I wear 10.5). However, if you want to use them in winter (perhaps with slightly thicker socks) you should order half a size (UK) larger.
