The material feels very good, but the sock shoes should be worn with socks. They don't seem breathable, but they feel good when walking. You can also walk on hard floors and asphalt. The size is a little big. I normally wear size 46 and ordered size XL. This should fit a size 45/46. I would describe it more as a size 46/47. I don't know how big the jump down is.
The soles tend to collect damp soil as excrement, and wiping them off doesn't help. After drying, lots of small pieces of dirt fall off, so you should treat the socks like normal shoes and put them away, even though it's very tempting to just walk around the house like that.

I bought the sock shoes for the first time. Child 1 was immediately enthusiastic. While child 2 is not convinced, as walking with these sock shoes takes practice. The fit is perfect. The sock shoes are tight. Again, some people like what they are wearing and others find uncomfortable. I bought a pair myself and am very impressed. The quality seems to be very robust. I will soon be testing the sock shoes on your hike over hill and dale...

Best barefoot shoes I've ever had.
They can really be called barefoot shoes. I have been walking barefoot for 1. 1/2 years and they are the only alternative for me in extreme situations

Unfortunately, the Skinners are too big. Returning and exchanging them from Germany was a problem for me. For this reason, I'm keeping the socks. I'm deducting 2 points from the rating for this. Otherwise, fast delivery and comfortable to wear.
