Great shoes!
I find them slightly aggressive (due to a slight downturn and light to medium pre-tension), but at the same time relatively comfortable to wear. They offer good grip and stability on small steps. They are also very good in overhangs. I can't say much about the response to volume or friction, as I've only just got them.

They are probably more suitable for more advanced climbers and not for beginners. In my opinion, they are absolutely recommended for the former target group!

I wear the Vapor V in the bouldering hall and when rock climbing (mainly sand). With its moderate pre-tension and moderate downturn, it is the perfect all-rounder for me. If you choose a size that doesn't allow your toes to be as far up as possible, the Vapor is also very comfortable to wear when crack climbing.
The fit of the toe box suits my narrow feet with a foot shape somewhere between Roman and Egyptian.

Very good workmanship.
I use the shoe (bought for the second time) for bouldering, rope climbing in the gym and on rock, also for multi-pitch climbing.
Very comfortable for my (rather wide) foot.
Compared to the previous model, the foot muscles have to work a little harder (I could feel my toes a little after the first few uses - after climbing three times, no more problems), but you have an even better feel for the footholds.

I wear size 42 in street shoes, but I always take the Scarpa Vapor V in size 41 so they sit snugly on my feet.
The shoe gets a little wider over time and then it fits perfectly.
