For shoe size 43.5, I initially ordered 43.5 and it was far too tight, I couldn't get into it. Ordered shoe size 44 and it was still very tight. After the third trip, the flexible upper had stretched enough to hold the foot all around without being too tight or pinching, and the toes still had room at the front. I have a narrow foot and narrow lasts are no longer common in today's shoe manufacturing. For people with wider lasts, at least a whole size larger is recommended. The feel is good. The mesh insert is noticeable in the ventilation. No rain or water use yet, but I expect the water to get in unhindered and can only hope that the drainage actually works as stated.

The fit is great, even for wider feet. I chose a size larger.
They are neatly crafted.
I was able to test it on the bike for the first time and everything was perfect.
