The jacket fits like an "L" should. It survived the first tour with 10 km in heavy rain and then another 15 km in drizzle perfectly. I tend to sweat a lot. On the tour in question with an outside temperature of 10 degrees, I stayed completely dry. At home I only steamed - I am impressed. The clever features (e.g. the two-way zippers on the pockets that also serve as ventilation or the small cuffs at the end of the sleeves that are very comfortable and keep the rain out) make the jacket something special.

I cannot understand reviews about leaks or quality defects.

There was nothing to complain about in terms of fit and size (XL at 182cm and 90kg). Unfortunately, the jacket can only be used with a bicycle helmet. The hood is a bit oversized for use WITHOUT a helmet. Even with the tightest setting, the hood peak always slips into the field of vision. The previous model had an additional adjustment option with a Velcro fastener at the back of the head. Unfortunately, this is missing here. The second drawback: the stoppers on the adjustment cords do not hold them in place. This means that the hood cannot be permanently adjusted. I cannot comment on the tightness and breathability because I unfortunately had to return the jacket. But delivery was great - 3 working days (Austria-Berlin)!
