The new Petzl Sm'D has been specially developed for use with the Micro Traction and the Petzl Tibloc. This lightweight and compact carabiner can be used in many situations and offers easy handling. For example, it can be easily operated with gloves. A special hole underneath the snap offers the possibility to connect the devices with the carabiner to prevent them from falling down.
Double-action closure, but I prefer triple-action carabiner for the stand etc. 52g (kitchen scale), very suitable for Microtraxion (but why do I need a locking carabiner for that?), Microtraxion also fits in the small bending radius. Closure fits through Microtraxion, i.e. carabiner can be rotated 360°. Attachment eyelet is a nice idea, but in practice it doesn't work for me (yet), as there is no advantage over a sliding loop that is hooked directly into the carabiner. Attachment eyelet is perhaps useful for high-altitude tours where the carabiner is not usually used?
