I already had a RE Alaska jacket in different colours, use it for trail running in windy or shadowy zones and it really does what it claims: real 20k rain protection and , most important for me, real 40k transpiration, and it's the first 3L jacket after many that I have, of very famous brands, that really does it. Moreover, it has zips underarm, which for me is a must for a running jacket, it's quite light and easily packable to fit in a trail running backpack. So I bought this one because currently it's difficult to find this jacket, and in my experience it's the only model on the market with these great specs at this relatively low price.
